We thank God for the First Profession of Vows of Sr. Mercy Olumoroti and Sr. Salome Bulus, which took place at our Novitiate House, Makurdi, Benue State on Tuesday, April 21, 2015.
It was well attended by all and sundry, home parish priest of both sisters, their parents, other priests and religious, lay faithful, friends and family. His Lordship, the bishop of Gboko Diocese, Most Rev. William Avenya was the chief celebrant. Our able and lovely Dominican Sisters were there en mass, including the chief host of the day, our vibrant Prioress General, Sr. Jacinta Nwaohiri, OP.
It was indeed a very colourful ceremony.
