The Dominican Sisters of St. Catherine of Siena, Gusau, Nigeria, in collaboration with the Association of Muslim Sisters, Gusau organized a workshop on “Inter-Faith Dialogue”, from the 16 17 December, 2016. Venue was the Ministry of Women and Children Affairs, Gusau.
This workshop is aimed at fostering peaceful co-existence between the Christian and Islamic Religions.
The facilitators were Mr. Gaius Daphet of the Humanitarian Web Initiative and Mrs. Esther Nang, a nurse, both from Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria. They both performed excellently well in their presentation of papers.
It was attended by the Muslim women, Christian women and us. Our Prioress General, Sr. Jacinta Nwaohiri, OP was present as well as the President of the Muslim women, Mrs Zainab and the session proved to be very interactive.
