IDENTITY

Dominican College, Gusau is a Catholic Mission Secondary School which comprises Junior Secondary one to three and Senior Secondary one to three. It is a co-educational system (both boys and girls), and also it is both Boarding and Day school.

Dominican College belongs to the Dominican Sisters of St. Catherine of Siena, Gusau, Nigeria who doubles as both the owner and management.

MOTTO AND LOGO

The motto of Dominican College Gusau as inscribed on its logo is VERITAS ET  EXCELLENTIA, which simply means  TRUTH  AND EXCELLENCE.

          To offer qualitative and comprehensive education to young    men and women in the Northern part of Nigeria; within the Dominican tradition of study, prayer, community, and preaching

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

The Dominican College established on September 6th 2010 by Dominican Sisters of St. Catherine of Siena, Gusau, Nigeria has the following aims and objectives:

¨   To offer qualitative and comprehensive education to boys and girls within and outside Zamfara State.

¨  To provide a holistic education to especially the youth in the Northern part of Nigeria which in essence is non-discriminatory.

¨   To attain in its students a triple excellence of:

* Service Excellence, using the renowned Dominican tradition of study, prayer,, community and preaching..
