Dominican Sisters of St. Catherine of Siena, Gusau, Nigeria

Sr. Justina Nnajiofor, OP was elected as the new Prioress General during the just concluded and successful 7th General Chapter, which took place in September, 2021 as the fourth and current Nigerian Prioress General of the Dominican Sisters of St. Catherine of Siena, Gusau, Nigeria. She is very artistic, intelligent and kindhearted  She took over from Sr. Jacinta Nwaohiri, OP.

Sr. Juliana Ekwoanya, O.P. is re-elected as the Assistant Prioress General during the 7th General Chapter (September, 2021) of the Dominican Sisters of St. Catherine of Siena, Gusau, Nigeria.

Sr. Ekwoanya hails form Idemili Local Government Area in Anambra State, from the Eastern part of Nigeria.

 

Sr. Bridget Yabo, O.P. is the newly re-elected Second Councillor during the 7th General Chapter (September, 2021) of the Dominican Sisters of St. Catherine of Siena, Gusau, Nigeria.

Sr. Bridget hails from Jema Local Government of Nigeria in Kaduna State, in the Northern part of Nigeria.  She holds a Diploma degree in Evangelization, Bachelor,s degree in Medicine and Surgery.

She has a membership in Family Medicine and West African College of Physicians.

Her hobbies are: doing creative arts, travelling, and singing.

Her core values include: simplicity, hardworking and being available for people.

 

 

Sr. Mary Ekwe, O.P. is the elected Fourth Councillor during the 7th General Chapter (September, 2021) of the Dominican Sisters of St. Catherine of Siena, Gusau, Nigeria.

Sr. Mary Ekwe, O.P. hails from Edo State, in the Southern part of Nigeria.

 

Sr. Comfort Okoro, O.P. is the third councillor, elected during the 7th General Chapter held in September, 2021.
